Ethno-funk rock from Hungary. Kerekes is one of Hungary's most popular and probably the rocking World music formations. After ten years of interpreting folk songs and giving chamber concerts across the country, the band began their original style of music in 2006, an incomparable mix of electrifying ethno-funk and change-boogie. The band's international career started with the now gold and platinum album Keck, closely followed by the album What the Folk? which also received gold records. The band is currently celebrating its 25th stage anniversary with funk rock songs.
