The German-Moroccan artist and musician Yonii grew up in Stuttgart and attended drama school here. Besides successes in film and television (e.g. Tatort, Dogs of Berlin), he started as a rapper and singer. His music combines good humor, socio-critical lyrics, and Oriental influences.
